Kohn „Kalmár” Dávid

István megint eltörte a lábát, ezért kicsivel több ideje lett az internetes böngészés műfajú kutatásra. A Budapest Főváros Levéltára Fogolytörzskönyvek és nyilvántartások adatbázisában megtalálta az 1847. október 16-án Cserépfalván született Kohn Dávidot.

Vajon miért Kalmár néven szerepel ezen a fogolytörzskönyvön? Már ekkor magyarosítottak zsidó neveket?

9 gyermeke volt Kohn Dávidnak és Egerben élt. Az irat szerint könyvnyomdász-segédként dolgozott.

1902 februárjában tartóztatták le és vitték a tömlöcbe. Csalás vétséget követett el és körözték is. Vajon mit csalhatott a Kalmárra magyarított könyvesember?

Az ítéletek időpontjai is érdekesek. Az első és másodfokú ítéletek még 1899-ben születtek. Mi történt bő két és fél évig? Ugyanis 1902 februárjában kapták el Budapesten. És szinte azonnal meg is kezdte a 3 hónapos letöltendőt a fogházban, majd még három napot is le kellett ülnie 60 korona befizetése helyett. Pluszban 3 évre eltiltották a közügyektől.

Az 1847-ben született könyvnyomdász-segéd Kohn Dávid második generációs zsidója lehetett Cserépfalunak, hiszen 1828-ban jegyezték fel az elsőt.

Az 1910-ben született cserépi Kohn Regina a holokauszt áldozata, akár a megtévedt kalmár unokája is lehetett.

Majd ez is kiderül, ha az anyakönyvekhez jutunk. Valamikor.
